ANNOUNCEMENT: Earl's Court Video Tree BRANCHES ONLY

This announcement is for the Earl's Court VHS tree - BRANCHES ONLY. The source of this tree will be the Holy Eye DVDR video, with additional audio synced from the Odyseus audio bootleg. This announcement is for BRANCHES ONLY. A LEAF announcement will be forthcoming. (There is also the possibility of an upcoming VCD tree, as well.)

As a BRANCH, you will need 2 Hi-Fi VCRS and the knowledge of how to make copies. You must use the separate line in/out cables for both video and audio - you do NOT go through channel 2 or 3!! The alternative to this setup is to have one of those 2-decks in one jobs that are made by companies such as Video to Go.

Because of the already advanced generation level of the source, we really want to keep this to a 2-level tree. Generation loss is a BIG thing for video. For this project, (it will be HUGE) and it is very important that we get 40 to 50 branches to sign up, and each branch will need to do 7 -12 tapes. I know that is alot, but if you are a branch you get the advantage of receiving a better generation tape! If you currently only have one HiFi VHS machine, I'd encourage you to consider buying a new one to add to it, as they are VERY cheap these days! (Tell your spouse that the other  one is busted - that's what I did!) PLEASE, If you can branch, we'd really appreciate it, and so will the leaves that won't have to watch a video that went through a 3-level tree!

DETAILS: (pay attention!) - the tree will be broken into two segments:

NTSC (primarily the North American Format) and PAL (primarily the European format).
